Dr. Mayville has coauthored over 20 published articles and book chapters on the following topics:
- Curriculum content in ABA
- Social skills
- Problem behavior
- Psychiatric disorders
- Psychotropic medication for persons with autism and developmental disabilities

He has served on the editorial boards of several peer-reviewed journals, including Research in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Behavior Analysis in Practice, and Behavior Development Bulletin. He is the co-editor of the book Behavioral Foundations of Effective Autism Treatment.

Training and Supervision
Dr. Mayville has provided classroom and workshop training for students at the Yale School of Medicine and for the Yale department of clinical psychology, where he has served as a consulting clinical supervisor.
